Removing wallpaper is not easy.
Who doesn’t have wallpaper in their bathroom? Anyone with a home built before 2000 probably does! If you are ready to rid your bathroom of floral, geometric, velvet or even reeds paper, then let us help you. Bathroom wallpaper generally has to be removed because the steam has loosened it to the point that painting over it doesn’t work well.
When removing wallpaper, the most important thing you MUST do is to get all the glue off the wall, which means wiping it down until it is no longer ‘slick’. If you fail to take the time to remove all the wallpaper glue, in about a year’s time your paint will flake right off. After you are sure the glue has been rinsed off, you can paint.
