Deck Update

Love to BBQ…

Stephanie loved spending time on her deck in the privacy of a lush backyard. But after years of enjoyment, she began to notice how weathered it had become. She hired us to power wash the deck and patio, replace the rotted hand rails, and paint the deck in a stunning solid color Redwood stain.

Our contractor, Josh, used a mildew-cide and chlorine on the porch to get the set-in, deep, dark stains out of the mortar and off the apple orchard stones. We had to touch up the mortar because as it aged, it became weak and the power washer stripped some of it from between the stones. On the deck, the top hand rails were replaced because they were rotted and were splitting. Josh power washed the deck and most of the old stain was removed leaving a nice canvas for the new stain.  He taped off the house and bushes with plastic and sprayed the stain evenly over the deck.

As you can see, it turned out beautiful! Now, Stephanie enjoys her BBQ time without being distracted with a nasty looking deck.
