Small job but necessary.
The original mailbox had been hit a few times by kids and was very wobbly. The owners found a beautiful metal mailbox and needed it installed. The new mailbox required a mini-slab where the base would be attached with screws to the concrete. It required making a post hole about 2 feet deep and a 14″ x 14″ base.
We removed the old mailbox and disposed of it then poured the concrete base. When cured, we attached the new mailbox careful to meet the postal service requirements. Important to know is that if your mailbox does not meet the USPS regulations, they do not have to deliver your mail.
